For a few decades now we have specialised in working with traditional stone and slate roof. Working with stone and slate (or any natural product for that matter) requires a high degree of skill and experience, many of today’s roofers won’t get involved with anything but interlocking tiles. Having worked with stone and slate for so long now, we know instinctively not just how to quote for your roof correctly (not under quoting then adding to the quote throughout the job) and how to minimise waste (your money) by laying out the roof in a jigsaw first before fixing to the roof. It takes a craftsman to lay natural products, not just a roofer – we understand the difference! Whilst it takes up to 6 months to train a roofer on interlocking tiles, it takes a lifetime to train on natural products – we are still challenged occasionally even after 40 years!
